The inevitable end

It didn't work out afterall, as per my suspicions. Its a pity that the last time i heard her voice was her screaming at me. (We ironed it out later over text, and it ended much more amicably, even thou thats just text. At least the last visual was good.)
It wasn't pleasant, and FORTUNATELY it wasn't in public, but sometimes you gotta just suck it up and be a man, do the right thing, yknow.

Am i sad? Of course, i'm only human. Honestly, i'm heartbroken. I really loved her, for a time there. But not every breakup has to be bad. In the end we still have good memories to keep. I don't think it will be hard to forget the few bad moments, because it all happened so quickly anyway. And its not like we ended on a tiff; it was more of a realization.
Not everyone is right for each other, thats what makes the journey meaningful. I had to work really hard to convince her of that at the end, but it was easy once she calmed down. Somehow i managed to stay calm through all the verbal abuse; i have a newfound respect for my long fuse. I feel like it ended really well! (come to think of it, another reason i'm kinda relieved we didn't do it in person. she might have kicked me. i cant be sure, but i really think she might have..)

I will still wrap up the good memories (first date, our phone calls, her continuous teasing, her lovely gifts... my only regret is that i never got the chance to reciprocate, and i DID prepare gifts too, i just didnt get a chance to give them. really.)

The moment i knew it wouldn't work was when her friend stepped into the picture. Not from the friend's words, but from her reaction. I would never hesitate to defend/support my other half, and i deserve someone who would do the same for me. Thats a flaw that i can never accept.
To be fair, there were parts of me that were lacking for her too. No wait that sounds REALLY bad.
There were PERSONALITY flaws that i had. ahh thats better.

Hopefully we can stay friends, and support each other in our lifelong quest for true love! Its not a race anyway, and we're both seriously young.
