Narrowed down to 3, namely
1) Control & Intelligent systems (an ubiquitous example would be the automatic vacuum cleaners u see in many homes where the vacuum cleaner goes around on its own. and bumps into walls occasionally... not that intelligent afterall eh. that'll change when i enter the industry ^^)
2) Biomedical (I read a newspaper article about a doctor who created a few simple medical devices and made alot of money... considering i'm entering the tech startup industry this is tempting for me)
3) Programming (Other tech startups need at least a few hundred k to start; money is probably an issue. For programming, it is literally free; that is the biggest draw. But it is possible that my programming knowledge now is enough to outsource to indian programmers who can probably programme better than me. That's my impression from my indian programming frens.. they are seriously good at it)
Right now my current train of thought is to 1) and 2)
If so, the technical electives i will take will be
Depth (4)
1) EE4601: Sensors for Biomedical Applications
2) EE4605: Bio-instrumentation and signal analysis
3) EE4307: Control Systems Design and Simulation
4) EE4306: Distributed Autonomous Robotic Systems
Breadth (1)
1) Industrial Control Systems
Outercore (3) : pre-requisites for my depth and breadth mods
1) EE3331C: Feedback Control Systems
2) EE3731C: Signal Processing Methods
3) EE3431C: Microelectronics Materials and Devices
