Trust is the most important thing in any relationship, be it friendship or romance.
Whenever it seems you are going to let something slip, reveal something about yourself instead of your friend. It'll satisfy both your inner gossip as well as the fella pestering you for secrets.
My 100% sure-fire way of keeping secrets... only failed me twice since i started using it, over a period of nearly 10 years. I'd like to see how many people have that kind of record!
and both times it failed... we stopped being friends. don't ever underestimate the power of trust.
