Amazing, amazing movie. really depicts how important choices are and how they can mess up more than your own life. Also, seems some were confused by why danny got killed just for blowing smoke in a guy's face. Well, the real message is that this is reality. One side changing isn't enough, and you will never get all sides to change with so little effort. Yes, derek and danny stopped their racist ways and decided to leave their gang. The black gang didn't know that. danny still looked like a skinhead neonazi to them, so they smoked him. Its a strong, and deep ending, but its real. And the main reason danny was smoked (not just cos he looked like a racist) was revenge at derek. its supposed to drive home the reality that derek changed, but too late to save the most important thing to him, his family.
